Thanks to the volunteers who joined Kallan and Nicky from DOC, Weed Action, and Sara from NRC who guiding the work.
Traps are in place but sadly the group found rat/stoat tracks in the sand which shows they are still a problem. 

The dunes suffer from quite a bit of pest plants which are slowly being dealt. 
The team got a lot done - pulling out pampas and small lupin, then cutting and pasting large lupin and Wattle.

A great morning was had with impressive results so everyone left with a nice feeling.
Aiming to do another one soon so stay tuned.
